Hi I
Noticed Firefox version 13 and 14 are having problems playing web videos. If
you load youtube and try watching a Video, You’ll simply get an error message
as shown below
And on support.mozilla.org/questions you’ll find
Questions like this
1.
I moved to the new Firefox 13 version, but there is a white screen where
the video is supposed to run. YouTube is also showing an error (not playing
video).
I thought
it was the new update to the flash player, but chrome and IE are working fine
so it is a Firefox thing.

Moderator Edit: The RealPlayer Record extension is known to cause this issue. Please
read the Flash
11.3 doesn't load video KB article for details on disabling this extension.

2. Shriek11: It seems that FF 13 is working with
11.2.202.235, while the newest flash plug-in is 11.3.300.257. This is the first
time an updated plug-in, not a BETA, has failed in Firefox.
Chrome
seems to use the IE plugin, since flash was still working when I uninstalled
the non-IE plugin. Mozilla seems to have dropped the ball here.
Now
My Solution
Rather than disabling your “Real player plugin” {and face a sorrowful world of not being
able to download web videos} or Uninstalling “Flash
11.3 to reinstall an older version (Terrible)”, simply download Firefox
Aurora. Tada!!!
Firefox
Aurora is a more stable version of web browser by Mozilla. Note: You don’t need to uninstall your
Former Firefox to install Aurora.

Installing Firefox Aurora will correct the Error and
play your YouTube Videos once again.
You can even switching between Aurora version and your
Former Firefox any time you please. I hope this helps.
Cheers and Have fun

Just to say thank you for the 11.4.402.278 version of which I have installed as I prefer to use them from here. Mozilla Firefox Support
